Terms of Service

Last updated: March 2, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using Ritualy (hereinafter 'Service'), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you must not use the Service. The Service is provided by Faustino System, based in Portugal.

2. Description of Service

Ritualy is a personal productivity and organisation web application that includes tools for goal management, tasks, habits, finances, nutrition, calendar, and personal diary. The Service is provided through a paid subscription, with a 7-day free trial period.

3. User Account

To use the Service, you must create an account through Google authentication. You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your Google account credentials.
  • All activity that occurs under your account.
  • Providing accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Notifying us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account.

We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Plans and Payments

4.1 Trial Period

All new users have access to a 7-day free trial with full access to all features. No credit card is required to start the trial. After the trial period, a paid subscription is required to continue using the Service.

4.2 Available Plans

  • Monthly Plan: €4.49/month, billed monthly, with automatic renewal.
  • Annual Plan: €44.90/year, billed annually, with automatic renewal.
  • Eternal Plan: €449.00 one-time payment, lifetime access with no renewals.

4.3 Renewal and Cancellation

Monthly and annual subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period. You may cancel at any time through the subscription management page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you will retain access until that date. The Eternal Plan is not subject to renewals.

4.4 Refunds

Under European consumer protection law (Directive 2011/83/EU), you have the right to withdraw from the purchase within 14 days of subscribing, except if the digital service has already been provided and you gave your express consent for immediate commencement. To request a refund, contact [email protected].

5. Acceptable Use

By using the Service, you agree not to:

  • Use the Service for illegal or unauthorised purposes.
  • Attempt to access other users' data.
  • Interfere with the operation of the Service or its servers.
  • Share your account with third parties.
  • Reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code of the Service.

6. Intellectual Property

Ritualy, including its design, code, logo, and original content, is the property of Faustino System and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. The content you enter into the application (goals, tasks, diary entries, etc.) is your property and you may export or delete it at any time.

7. Service Availability

We strive to keep the Service available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. However, we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Scheduled maintenance periods or unplanned outages may occur. We are not liable for losses resulting from temporary unavailability of the Service.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our total liability to you for any damages shall not exceed the amount paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. These limitations do not affect your rights as a consumer under Portuguese and European law.

9. Changes to Service and Terms

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the Service, or to amend these Terms, with reasonable prior notice. For material changes, we will notify you by email at least 30 days in advance. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

10. Termination

You may close your account at any time through account settings. We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these Terms. Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

11. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by Portuguese law. In the event of a dispute, the parties agree to attempt an amicable resolution. If no agreement is reached, disputes will be submitted to the competent courts of Portugal. Consumers also have the right to use the European online dispute resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
